Victim Support Service [SA] is hosting the 2013 National Victims of Crime Conference in Adelaide, in collaboration with the South Australian Office for Women. The Conference aims to provide a range of diverse papers, presentations and workshops that explore ways in which justice for victims is significantly improved. The organisers are seeking contributions from a wide range of professionals who have varied interests in working with people who have experienced crime, victimology, law reform and trauma. The Conference will explore and report on ways in which we can empower victims and provide them with a more satisfying justice outcome.

Australian Women’s Coalition is calling young women between 18 – 30 years who live, study or work in Auburn, Bankstown, Liverpool or Coffs Harbour NSW, or in Canberra, ACT to be a part of SHOUT!  A series of three free workshops will run in each location, complemented by an online network of support and skills-sharing and a local network of participants and AWC member organisations.
