Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women we are joining millions of people in the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, which aims to raise public awareness and mobilise people everywhere to bring about change. The 16 days run from 25th November to 10th December, which is Human Rights Day. The theme of the 2017 campaign is “Leave no one behind: End violence against women and girls”.

Over the next 16 days we will be talking about diverse groups of women, manifestations of violence against women and, most importantly, the solutions.
