The Australian Government released its draft National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security a few months ago. The National Action Plan outlines Australia’s framework to integrate gender considerations in all peace and security efforts and support work to eliminate violence against women in fragile, conflict and post-conflict situations where Australia operates.

The Government sought input from across Australia about the content of the National Action Plan to help inform the development of the final National Action Plan.
