Vanamali (Mali) is a postgraduate student studying Social Work through Charles Sturt University, holding an undergraduate degree majoring in Sociology from the ANU. She has organising experience within grassroots community groups, feminist spaces and the union movement. Mali is a Wiradjuri woman with lived experience of disability, caring and poverty. She is currently engaged in healthcare activism.
Ornwipa RugkhlaPolicy Officer
Ornwipa (Pam) is a gender specialist with experience in programs and policy to end violence against women across multiple levels of governance, from grassroots women’s organisations, NGOs, national governments, to the regional level and global level with UN agencies. Through these experiences, Pam has first-hand insights into the important contribution that the various stakeholders bring, challenges they face and how they work together to end violence against women. Pam holds a Masters in Women’s Health from the University of Melbourne.
Tina DixsonActing Program Manager
Tina Dixson has worked in the area of LGBTIQ, refugee and women’s rights both in Australia and overseas. Tina has a solid experience working with the United Nations bodies, having done the shadow report on the human rights violations of LBT women and undertaken a gender audit of the Global Compact for Refugees in UNHCR. Tina is also a Doctoral Candidate writing a thesis about lived experiences of queer refugee women in Australia.
